The Annual Hormel Business Plan Competition

The Hormel Family Foundation is now accepting submissions for the 2008 annual Hormel Business Plan Competition, which will take place on June 6th, 2008. The venue, once again, will be the Hormel Business & Technology Center on the McCook Community College campus.
The Hormel Business Plan Competition is open to anyone interested in location a business in or near McCook. Start-ups and existing local business owners alike are encouraged to compete for the $25,000 cash investment, as well as donated professional services valued at $10,000.

The 2007 Business Plan Competition Winner

The Hormel Family Foundation is proud to present Game On, the brainchild of Cody Dame and Tanner Lytle, winners of the 2007 Hormel Business Plan Competition.
2007 was a great year for the Game On duo. Not only did Cody and Tanner open their retail location at 201 West 1st Street in McCook, they also launched their online community and retail website: www.gameongames.com.
During the last month of 2007, Cody and Tanner blew us away with their impressive holiday sales.
